Green with Envy

I realized the other day that I do my makeup almost exactly the same for every photoshoot. So I decided to mix it up with a plum smokey eye and matching lip. It's the perfect combo for fall. So while I was playing with color, I decided to add in a little green with this gorgeous necklace from LaceysLayers - and it's only $13! Perfect layering piece.

I also have the hardest time finding jeans that fit and don't break the bank. I am SO excited to share Dearborn Denim with you! This brand is fully made in the US - from their Texas cotton to their workshop in Chicago, I always feel great when I can support an all-american company! And it doesn't hurt that these jeans fit like a glove and they are only $45! I know....jeans under $50, steal. I'm wearing the Skinny High Rise Dark Wash and these run true to size!

Go-To Summer Wear

It's only May and it is already CRAZY hot in Arkansas, so I'm embracing my summer wardrobe. Recently I've been adding a few new staples into my summer rotation, including this fun asymmetric denim skirt from Loft. It's super comfy and perfect for those days you aren't feeling shorts (but it's denim - so it's still wind friendly).  And y'all know I'm a sucker for a good tank top. I'm in love this olive one I picked up at Maude the other day! It's cropped - so you can wear it tucked into a skirt or shorts or leave it out with some flare jeans! Olive is one of my favorite colors to wear because it's still neutral without being grey, white or black - so you can wear it with just about anything! It's safe to say that this top has become a new staple in my wardrobe.

Also - my hair has gotten super long, so I've been trying to master braiding before this summer fully hits! So if anyone has fun braid ideas - let me know!

xoxo

Gone Glam

Remember this skirt? I styled it with a crop top a few weeks ago (you can find it here). So today I'm showing you how to make your favorite summer midi skirt "fall-friendly"! This sweater from Loft is SO SOFT. If they had it in other colors, I would own them all! Sadly, they're sold out - but be sure to check your local Loft store! Neutral sweaters like this are my favorites because they go with shorts, jeans, skirts - you can even tie them over a dress. To glam it up, I added my Lisi Lerch Tassel Earrings and studded heels. Fall Transitions

Do y'all remember this skirt? I styled it a few weeks ago (check it out here) with a crop top - but today I'm showing you how to make your fave midi skirts fall-friendly. This sweater from Loft is SO SOFT! If they had it in other colors, I would own them all. It's cute with jeans, skirts, shorts - even tied over a dress. So I figured it would be the perfect piece to pair with my TJ Sewer skirt to transition into cooler weather! And to glam it up a little, I added in my Lisi Lerch Tassel Earrings and studded heels. Check it out below!

Party Pants

I have two words that will change your lives my friends. Palazzo Pants. They couldn't be more flowy or comfy and bonus - they just so happen to be in fashion right now. Win win! I teamed up with one of my fave Arkansas blogger gals, Megan from Pretty is as Pretty Does, to style pieces from one of our all time favorite boutiques - Maude! Surprisingly we didn't see each other's outfits or photos until last night, and YES they turned out eerily similar. I guess two minds think alike! But y'all - back to these pants. I can't stop wearing them! They have been on serious repeat in my closet recently. They're a bold pattern, but I feel like they go with any solid top. I've paired them with white, olive, coral - you name it! They are so versatile and I just can't get enough! And cant we talk about this dress Megan's wearing for a sec? Um, hello gorgeous! I'm a firm believer that you can never own too many shift dress.

Be sure to check out Maude Boutique and head over to Megan's page and say hello! Happy Monday y'all!
