Christmas Eve

It's almost here! I love Christmas time. Celebrating the birth of my Lord and Savior while eating ridiculous amounts of food with the people I love - it doesn't get much better! But along with all the holiday celebrations comes party attire. I searched long and hard for the perfect Christmas dress and I finally found it. This ruffle dress from Camilyn Beth is to DIE for. It's the perfect shade of cranberry and has the cutest little gold snaps on the back. And the best part is that I can continue to wear this dress all year - even in the summer, it's the perfect dress for any formal affair.

Obviously once you find the perfect dress, you also have to find the perfect accessories. Because I couldn't wear a necklace with this dress I chose to pair it with some serious statement earrings. These blingy long earrings are some of my all-time favorites, but they're clearly on the dressier side so I can only pull them out every once in a while. I also added this gorgeous ring from Chloe and Isabel (be sure to visit my friend Sarah Rose's shop). It's still a statement piece, but it's neutral enough to go with anything!

I hope you all are enjoying the holidays with your loved ones! The details for this look are linked below.

Gilmore Addiction

Attention all Gilmore Girls lovers. Do y'all remember the post featuring my Gilmore Girls hoodie? Well, Arsenic and Lace has done it again!  My fave company just released their new line and it's freakin' ADORABLE! But let's be honest, we all knew it would be. You absolutely have to head to their site and check it out! It features Gilmore Girls, Spice Girls, Mean Girls - basically all the "girls" of our lives.

Since I {sadly} can't transport myself to Stars Hollow, I'll just have to head to a coffee shop and pretend I'm in Luke's Diner. This shirt just makes it more authentic though, am I right!?

PS - those of you looking for Christmas gifts, Arsenic and Lace's tees make the perfect gift {I might actually be gifting a few to myself...}

Pattern Mixing 101

In case you haven't already noticed - I'm pattern addicted. I love mixing different prints and textures, but the key is to keep it balanced. I typically only mix two bold prints (in this case, plaid and leopard) and then keep the rest of my outfit fairly neutral. But it's so hard to find neutral shoes that aren't super boring. But, thanks to Restricted Shoes, I finally found the perfect pair! The color is perfection and the little buckles on the sides keep them fashion forward.

And let's talk about these earrings. I'm completely obsessed with ear jackets! These pearl ear jackets are from The Peach Box and are absolute perfection! Pearls are always classy, but these earrings add a little edge. Shop this look below! (PS - Use code "GLITTER25"for 25% off at restrictedshoes.com)

Gone Glam

Remember this skirt? I styled it with a crop top a few weeks ago (you can find it here). So today I'm showing you how to make your favorite summer midi skirt "fall-friendly"! This sweater from Loft is SO SOFT. If they had it in other colors, I would own them all! Sadly, they're sold out - but be sure to check your local Loft store! Neutral sweaters like this are my favorites because they go with shorts, jeans, skirts - you can even tie them over a dress. To glam it up, I added my Lisi Lerch Tassel Earrings and studded heels. Shop this look below!

Farewell to Summer

Summer might officially be over, but it's still 90 degrees here in Arkansas. So here's my (possibly) last summer outfit! I have officially become romper addicted. They are SO easy, no matching pieces, no worries about a gust of wind flying your dress up - just throw it on and go. This chambray one from Gap has quickly become my favorite! It's neutral and goes with absolutely anything. So of course I topped it off with my all-time favorite military vest, and Keds (you're shocked...I know). Shop this look below!

Arkansas Game Day

The Razorbacks might be having a rough season - but I'll always be an Arkansas lover at heart! And thanks to my friend Emily over at I Do Declare Boutique, I'm game day ready! Emily is one of the sweetest girls! She blogs over at I Do Declare, and recently opened up her own boutique along with her mom, Karen, which has the cutest pieces! But hey - she's a fashion blogger, obviously her style is on point. This dress is absolutely perfect for game day (or really any day). You can dress it up or dress it down, it's crazy versatile! I chose to pair it with a chambray button up and my favorite Keds for a casual look - but throw on some heels and you could head to church! Also, do you spy that cute little Arkansas necklace? So. Stinking. Cute. I'm hoping it'll bring some luck to the Hogs and maybe we'll get a win today? Maybe? Well.....to be honest, I have little faith - but at least I look good, am I right?! And use code "glitter15" for 15% off your purchase!

Mad for Plaid

Okay, it's finally beginning to feel like fall and I could not be more ecstatic! Fall is my all-time favorite season - hot chocolate, fireplaces, crisp weather and pumpkin everything? There's nothing better! So in honor of the changing weather, I obviously had to bring out my favorite fall print - plaid! Who doesn't love a good plaid? I've got tons of plaid shirts (even a vest) - but can you believe that this is my first plaid dress?! Yeah - neither can I! How have I been living without this my entire life? Seriously goes with everything. I paired it with my military vest and booties here - but think how cute it will be with a sweater, leggings and riding boots once it's a little colder! Mine's from http://pureheartsboutique.com/ and will definitely be on repeat all season. Be sure to use code "MUSINGSOFGLITTER" for 20% off your purchase! Shop this look below!

Fall Transitions

Do y'all remember this skirt? I styled it a few weeks ago (check it out here) with a crop top - but today I'm showing you how to make your fave midi skirts fall-friendly. This sweater from Loft is SO SOFT! If they had it in other colors, I would own them all. It's cute with jeans, skirts, shorts - even tied over a dress. So I figured it would be the perfect piece to pair with my TJ Sewer skirt to transition into cooler weather! And to glam it up a little, I added in my Lisi Lerch Tassel Earrings and studded heels.
