It's National Pink Day - so I thought I'd bring y'all a crazy, fun, super pink outfit. I can not say enough about this flamingo dress. Seriously the most summery piece in my closet and I am beyond obsessed!!! I will confess however, after this photoshoot I cut the tulle layer out (between the flamingo fabric and the lining was a layer of tulle) to bring the puffiness down a bit - but it took me 2 seconds! Some people may love the tulle - but I found it a little uncomfortable. So it is now tulle-less but just as cute! And it washed up like a dream which is always important for me! I love being able to just throw my clothes in the wash -no hand wash or dry clean here! To make it even more summery, I topped it off with some pink tassel earrings and this cute little watermelon purse!

Tropical Paradise

I couldn't wait to post these photos because I am SO in love with these pants! Holy moly. Every time I wear them I get a billion compliments all day long. The culotte trend is so hot this summer, and this palm print is right on trend. And the best part? They're SUPER COMFY! Like, y'all - I can't sing their praises enough. Plus their machine wash! But I have good news and bad news. Bad news it that these pants are sold out online. Boo! But good news, they may still have them at your local J.Jill Store and the other patterns are still available here!

When you style a piece that's got a lot going on, like these pants. You want to keep the rest fairly neutral. So I topped if off with this chambray off the shoulder top. Chambray is my favorite neutral during the summer. And I couldn't resist adding some tassel earrings to go with the summer vibes.

And last but not least, I wanted to share one of my new favorite hair products with y'all! As a blogger who is constantly changing in the backseat of a car and quickly re-doing my hair between outfits, Garnier has been one of my best friends to keep my hair from looking crazy. Boogie Partayyyy

There's nothing I love more than a comfy tee. I live in these most of the summer. Easy to throw it on with a pair of shorts and go. This one from Indie (one of the cutest little boutiques) is seriously perfect. It's oversized and made of the comfiest fabric. It's a little heathered, giving it that "worn in" look which I love. Pairs perfectly with my distressed shorts! And as soon as I saw this disco cup - I knew I needed it. IT'S SO FUN! It comes in rose gold also! Topped it all off with some tassel earrings and this is officially my go-to summer look. Easy, comfy, casual but adorable. Shop this look below!

Parties and Picnics

Summer is HERE. And so are all the parties, grill outs and picnics. But the worst part is when you plan out the cutest outfit, get completely ready, and then head out to your event and immediately start sweating. Hah! It happens to us all. So it's always important for me to have a few dresses in my closet that are high-quality and fashionable - but keep me cool. Thanks to Maude, I found my go-to dress for this summer!

This little dress is seriously the cutest. It has crochet detailing along the front that wraps all the way around to the back. Plus a little cut out at the neckline along with a halter tie top. I would say that it runs a teensy bit big - but I still ordered it in my normal size and it works well! 

And I'm sure none of you have seen these earrings (wink wink) yet this season, but I'm obsessed with the tassel trend. They add a fun little detail along with a pop of color - bonus, they're super light so no ear-pulling! Hope you all are having a fabulous memorial day weekend!

Spring Inspiration

Spring is SO close! I can feel it. Granted....it never really felt like winter here, so it's sort of been spring for a while in Arkansas. Hah! But regardless...I digress. I have been so ready to bust out all my floral dresses, sandals and skirts (although....may need to get some self-tanner first...) for the new season. I'm a sucker for a good floral print - and this one is no exception! This dress from Chicwish is actually an off-the-shoulder dress (bonus), but it just so happens to pair with a jean jacket perfectly and I couldn't resist! I also had to pull out my hot pink tassel earrings, because they have always been my go-to spring accessory.

Cropped Sweaters and High Waisted Jeans

Living in Arkansas - you never know what weather you're gonna get. It could be 75 and sunny one day, then 15 and snowing the next. And now that it's officially winter (and I've switched over my closet), it can be hard to figure out what to wear on those warmer days. Because, if you're like me, you want to look wintery...but you don't want to be hot all day.

My friends...I introduce you to the cropped sweater. This is the first cropped sweater I've owned - and I kind of love it. I paired mine with high waisted jeans so I could tuck it in, but this would be super cute layered over a tunic, dress or with a skirt! The color on Chicwish's website says plum, but it's definitely more of a rust color in person. To make it feel a little more in season, I topped it off with one of my go-to plaid scarves.

Embroidered for the Holidays

Oooo, y'all. This embroidered dress deserves all the heart eyes in the world because it's even prettier in person! It has the most gorgeous, delicate, little flowers all over it and I am {beyond} in love. Now, fair warning - it was a little short on me. But if you're not 5'10, it will be the perfect length for you! I ended up layering it over a slightly longer baby blue shirt dress; which could be an added bonus if it's freezing wherever you are (it's SO cold in Arkansas all of a sudden).

And to match the boldness of the embroidery, I had to step up my accessory game - so obviously fuchsia tassel earrings were in order. I'm also currently into matching my lipstick to my earrings (is that weird?) so I topped it all off with my favorite pink shade.

Now, I typically go for a red dress on Christmas (I know...so predictable), but I think I may mix it up this year and wear this one! Because y'all - it's seriously that pretty. Grab it before it's gone!
