Magnificent Metallics

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I'm all about a good set of neutrals, but I always feel the need to add a little something extra. And let me tell you, these shoes do NOT disappoint. They add the perfect amount of metallic shine to any outfit and are super comfy. You all know I have a boot addiction (aka I own a ridiculous amount of booties) - but I didn't have any metallic pairs until now and boy was I missing out! Pattern Mixing 101

 In case you haven't already noticed - I'm pattern addicted. I love mixing different prints and textures, but the key is to keep it balanced. I typically only mix two bold prints (in this case, plaid and leopard) and then keep the rest of my outfit fairly neutral. But it's so hard to find neutral shoes that aren't super boring.  I might have a ton of booties - but there has always been a gap in my collection. I didn't have ANY taupe booties! Shocking, I know. Never Enough Sparkle

Anyone else sick of crazy heavy earrings? I love statement pieces, but I'm always afraid they'll stretch out my ears! So, once I got an email from Brinley and Co, I was 100% interested. Earrings made out of leather? I was slightly skeptical - but as soon as I put them on, I became a leather believer! They hang well, still make a statement and are SO light that I even forget I'm wearing them. And the best part - no stretched out earlobes at the end of the day!
