Boho Jewelry Layering

I am SO excited to introduce y'all to a new brand today. Heather Hawkins has officially stolen my heart. I'm in loveeee with this jewelry. The photos truly don't do these pieces justice. They are even more gorgeous in person! If you're looking for quality pieces that are going to last you a lifetime, look no further.

I'm obessessed with this combo. The Y-chain is such a big trend right now, so as soon as I saw this Double Y Gemstone beauty, I knew I needed it! I'm also a big fan of layering necklaces to create an edgy, boho look - so the Layover Necklace was the perfect addition to this stack. The thing I like the most about Heather's line is that each of the pieces look stunning alone - but they're also easy to mix and match. Her line is full of custom cut gemstones, so you can find a style/color that suits you! I went with the labradorite because it's such a great neutral. It goes with everything!

I will definitely be adding more pieces to my collection as well as putting these on my Christmas list for family and friends! Check out the full line here! And you can use code "MusingsofGlitter" at checkout for 20% off! Happy shopping!

Star of the Show

Omgggggg. This cardigan, from Chicwish, is the STAR of the show. Sorry.....cheesy.....couldn't help myself. But seriously in love with this sweater! Big, bold prints are my all-time favorite and this is no exception. It's the perfect casual piece to make any outfit stand out. It's super cozy and the best to lounge in! I paired it with my favorite pair of boyfriend jeans and a basic white tee. Casual weekend done right.

I don't know about you all - but I plan on spending the weeknights hanging out on my porch soaking in all this pre-fall weather. Loving it!

Little Bit of Jackie O + Sandy D

So much goodness packed into this post. First of all - my favorite skinnies, aka the Denim Skinny, from Evys Tree is finally available for pre-order. These jeans are seriously the most comfortable ever. I have them in 3 colors now and wear them constantly. They're thick enough to look like a jean, but feel and fit like leggings. They're the best! And you can never go wrong with black, so I am so excited they finally added it to their collection!

Up next on the goodness train is the new jewelry line from SUGARFIX by BaubleBar at Target! Obsessed with these star pieces. They were the perfect accessories for this gorgeous pink cardigan from Chicwish. I'm a complete girly girl at heart and this cardigan had my name written allllll over it. I can't wait to wear it all fall and winter. It's the perfect layering piece. Cute with jeans, dresses, skirts - you name it. Loving this transition piece! Snag all these pieces below!

Heatless Overnight Curls

Anyone else watch Shark Tank?! It's a guilty pleasure of mine - so many creative people in this world! A few months back, I saw this product on the show and knew I had to try it! The Sleep Styler is a set of marshmallow soft rollers you can sleep in to wake up with gorgeous, no heat waves. I know....a lot of you stopped reading because you've been there, done that. But I have to say that you are wrong!! These are so different than anything you've ever tried. I've definitely used my fair share of rollers at night to avoid having to fix my hair in the morning with absolutely no success. They were always uncomfortable, or gave me awkward, kinky waves. The first time I used these - I put them in damp hair following my shower and slept in them overnight. Now, I'm not going to say they're comfortable. Because sleeping with anything in your hair is just plain uncomfortable. But comparatively, these are 10000% more comfortable than any other rollers I've tried. I was actually able to sleep through the night! But for those of you who aren't so fond of sleeping with something against your head, you can also use them throughout the morning while your hair air dries!

So first thing - you need to brush out each section before you begin. You have to have smooth hair, or your curls won't be smooth.

Then you can start rolling. You may have to play with it for a while. It definitely took me a few tries to get the hang of it. But you just wrap your hair around the roller, then take the velcro strap and wrap it around the hair to hold it in place.

Do this until your entire head is done! I needed almost a full 2 sets of the large rollers for my hair.

Then let it dry! If you're crunched for time, you can always speed up the process with a blow dryer.

After you take the rollers out, you can just finish with some hairspray or whatever products you normally use.

And voila! So easy. And SO much healthier for your hair.

PS - if you have shorter hair, they have smaller rollers as well!

Check out my set here! And use code SS04 for 20% off your purchase!

UPDATE

So I've been playing around with these rollers for a few weeks - and figured out if you wrap your hair on top of each other (so kind of stacked, instead of wrapped all the way down the roller) you get tighter curls. Here are some pictures! I just took the rollers out, added a little tease and some texturizing spray.

Saturday Errands

Pretty sure this is the 4th denim dress I own, but I've decided you can never have enough. They're perfect for all seasons and the best transition piece! Denim is totally a neutral in my mind. I can wear it by itself, pair it with leggings, throw on a cardigan - the possibilities are endless. This dress is a great length AND it has pockets! Serious win win.

This dress has become one of my favorite weekend outfits for when you've got lots to do, but still want to look cute! It's from J.Jill - so of course it's super soft and machine washable (which is a non-negotiable in my book). I threw it on with a pair of my comfiest booties and some blush accessories. Perfect from running to brunch with the girls to grabbing some groceries and everything in between.

Cooler Weather Professional

We're finally getting some cooler weather here in Nashville! I am beyond ready for fall. It's by far my favorite season - smore's, cardigans, leaves, what's not to love? My go-to outift for cooler weather is leggings with a tunic and booties - but sadly, I'm a working girl now, so I need to look professional during the week!

And thankfully J.Jill has my back per usual. They make the best work-wear to stay fashionable and comfy. I started off with these ankle length stretch pants - so comfortable for running around all day, but still professional! I added this solid white tunic - a staple everyone needs in their closet - and topped it off the this cozy maroon cardigan. One of those outfits I can wear all day at work, but still come home and lounge in. The best of both worlds!

Snag these pieces below!

Summer Weddings

Anyone else have a thousand weddings to go to this summer? I know technically "summer" is coming to a close - but let's be real, for all us southern girls, it's going to be just as hot all the way into October. There's nothing worse than being at an outdoor wedding in a thick formal dress, sweating all of your makeup off. Am I right!? It's the worst!

But no fear. I've found the solution! This little blue dress from Eliza J is the perfect dress for those steaming hot weddings. It's still a heavier fabric, making it appropriate for those formal ceremonies - but it's oddly breathable and cool. I love the scallop detailing and the off the shoulder neckline. So flirty and feminine! I can guarantee you I'll be reaching for this dress all wedding season long! You can snag this beauty here!
