Classic Chambray

Everyone needs a chambray dress in their closet. It's one of those staples that never goes out of style. I've worn mine every year - sure accessories may change, but the dress itself never does! This one from J.Jill is incredibly soft (as is all of their items) and it has pockets - which, give me a dress that has pockets and I'm sold. It's still a little chilly here in Arkansas, so I topped it off with my striped zip-up from my friends over at Evys Tree!

Valentine's Day Frill Dress

Valentine's Day is almost here - crazy how quickly January went by, right? And although I'm still super single, I love getting together with my besties for a "Gal-entines" celebration!

No matter what your plans are for the big day, this ruffle dress from Chicwish is the perfect fit. You'll be the center of attention in this bright, cherry red - and paired with some blush jewelry, you'll be right on trend. I love mixing pink and red (not only on Valentine's day either). Merry Christmas!

Twirling in excitement because IT'S ALMOST CHRISTMAS!!! My absolute favorite time of the year. Christmas lights, hot chocolate, family time - nothing beats it. I'm soaking up every minute! Only downside of Christmas time is that it's freezing outside. But I found the perfect solution to your winter-chill woes! 

This poncho is essential for the holidays because not only does it keep you warm and toasty, but it's still festive and fashion forward. I played mine over a red plaid button-up, but you could pair this with a dress too! It doesn't have set "sleeves" so you can just drape it over whatever you happen to be wearing. Memorial Day

First, let me say I'm sorry that these images aren't the best. This was literally the worst day for a photoshoot - we had a serious storm rolling in (we're talking crazy winds, super dark skies and lots of rain), but I'm heading out of town and wanted to shoot this look before Memorial Day for you all! 

I just received these white distressed skinnies from Wild Blue Denim and I must say - these are the comfiest jeans EVER. If I had to describe them, I would say their a hybrid jean/legging/yoga pant combo. They have just the right amount of stretch and the cutest button detailing. I paired my skinnies with an off the shoulder top (I know...you're starting to get sick of them - but I LOVE them) and added some red accessories to finish it off!

Pattern Mixing 101

 In case you haven't already noticed - I'm pattern addicted. I love mixing different prints and textures, but the key is to keep it balanced. I typically only mix two bold prints (in this case, plaid and leopard) and then keep the rest of my outfit fairly neutral. But it's so hard to find neutral shoes that aren't super boring. But, thanks to Restricted Shoes, I finally found the perfect pair! The color is perfection and the little buckles on the sides keep them fashion forward.
